We are currently looking for a licensed clinician (i.e. a LCSW or LPC) to join our team as a part-time therapist for a minimum of 15 hours a week. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions. An ideal candidate would have interest and experience in providing therapy to young children and their families. Play therapy experience highly preferred.

We’re Hiring!

  • Perform on-site clinical therapy services to clients of all ages, including young children, teens, and adults.

  • Be available two evenings per week, or one evening and one weekend to meet with 15-25 patients weekly. 

  • Conduct compressive intake assessments to identify presenting issues, clients’ mental health status, and develop individualized treatment plans or recommendations. 

  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide crisis intervention when needed.

The Details…

  • Master’s Degree in counseling or social work; and an active, unrestricted license as an LCSW or LPC in the State of New Jersey. A copy of your license must be provided.

  • Availability to see at least 15 client sessions per week.

  • Prior experience working in outpatient or private practice, especially with a niche of child/teen therapy, play therapy, and/or perinatal mental health is highly preferred.

  • An affirming stance toward LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals, a commitment to anti-racist practices, and openness to continued training and consultation in these areas.

  •  A desire for continued professional growth and a passion for client-centered work.

  • Current approval as an in-network provider with Horizon BCBS a plus, but not required.

  • W-2 position with competitive fee-for-service (FFS) rates.
